Arne Slot has slammed the refereeing after he refused to show Lucas Bergvall a yellow card. Which cost Liverpool 1-0 to Spurs in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final.

The incident occurred just before the goal when Spurs’ young midfielder Lucas Bergvall. Who was already booked, fouled Kostas Tsimikas, the Reds’ player, but referee Stuart Attwell did not show him a second yellow card, shortly before the player scored the winning goal.

Asked after the game whether the Spurs player should have received a second yellow card, Arne Slot said: “Yes, I don’t think there’s any controversy about that.”

“When the referee didn’t give the second yellow card. สมัครสมาชิก UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีทุกวัน No one thought it would have such a big impact 30 seconds later.”

“I didn’t ask him, but I’m 99.9% sure I’m not the only one who feels, I’m 99.9% sure, when Bergvall scored, the referee thought, ‘Is that really happening?’ Because he can’t change it anymore.”

“It would be more interesting for everyone to explain why he didn’t give the second yellow card, rather than explaining why he ruled out the goal that everyone saw on the screen. But I know that’s not the rule. VAR has nothing to do with the second yellow card.”
