The Magpies will play three matches in May, meeting Brentford in the season-ending match on May 19. It is not yet clear whether Joelinton will be able to return to help the team during that time or not.
Eddie Howe’s team has been plague by injuries this season, causing their form to drop from last season. And currently they are 10th in the table, 19 points away from the leader and 14 points away from the top four.
Joelinton is expect to make his return sometime in May. Its last Premier League game is on May 19.
The prognosis means Joelinton should be fit in time for the Copa America being held in the United States starting June 20. He scored on his debut for Brazil in June last year.
Joelinton was injury in Newcastle’s win over Sunderland in the third round of the FA Cup on Jan. 6.
He has scored two goals in 16 appearances this season.
